“Professional” writing
If you’re here to learn about my day job as a UX writer, you’re in luck(ish). Here’s a sampling of some of my favorite projects from Figma and previous employ:
- A brand new Figma product
- A not-horribly-received billing remodel and further $ monetization
- A responsive and fun signup flow
- Inclusive search and emotional health resources (Pinterest)
- A better logged-out homepage (Pinterest)
- A 10-2 “not guilty” verdict delivered in favor of BART, in less than two hours (Foreman, civil jury, Alameda County)
- Removing the vandalism “Miss Rosen is a looser” from a student’s desk (NYC Dept. of Ed.)
Another favorite Pinterest project was taxonomy that defined peoples’ fixed perma-identities vs. their fleeting current interests. Here’s some fixed vs. fleeting of me, so this website feels a tad more substantial:
